Inspiring Designer: Ross Lovegrove
Labeled 'organic design', Ross Lovegrove's work is intensely seductive to aesthetes with appreciation for nature and impressionism. Strikingly contemporary in style, we are reminded of the Why behind what we do. To create is to take risk, to express ourselves, and to feel emotions that can be difficult to access. He articulates well why an original piece of art speaks to us more so than a reproduction machine made. Ross Lovegrove’s Gingko Table (2007) was featured in Sotheby’s Design sale in Paris on 17 May 2017.
